How many people would be upset if we just got rid of deadeye?

I mean... There's literally only one purpose for it. Someone who shouldnt be shooting gets a bail out and penalizes the defense for "being late" but closing out on shooters is great defense. I'm not going to sit there and press a 77ovr all like he's Ray Allen, but if that person has dead eye and i get screened then he makes that stupid leaning shot.

It's literally the only reason the cheese happened last year. Dead eye should be gone.

It exists in the game because players in the NBA have a similar ability in real life. Do you remember when Shane Battier used to contest Kobe's shots with his hand literally Millimeters from Kobe's eye balls and yet Kobe would still consistently make the shots? You can't nerf everything in a video game that is supposed to mimic real life. In real life shots still go in even when contested.
