Did they update on ball defense?

I know there wasn't a patch yet, but they did say they can adjust things without patches now. All of a sudden as of yesterday the blow by animation is being triggered when a big man or slower defender is on a speedy guard. I know for a fact it was in there out the box.

Finally able to exploit mismatches.

It was definitely there out of the box...posted 5-6 videos of it happening...

Must be a pretty solid game if 2k got people thinking the game got updates just from them getting better at the game.

Online or offline? It's not impossible that something in the gameplay could have been changed for online play on the server side (unlikely, but not impossible). Offline though, no...if that's what you're seeing it's probably just placebo.

BTW, the things they were talking about being able to adjust without a patch dealt with the ACE system and adding new plays to the game, mostly.

Damn possibly placebo.. Def not getting used to the controls cuz I've been had a solid grasp of them. Just felt like the same things I was doing before was finally working

Haha, definitely possible!

I did notice several possessions in a game last night where I seemed to move around with more ease. Probably in my head, or as 24th pointed out - practice has a positive effect.
