Re: Week 6 Discussion

It's FSU week and I don't care. FSU takes it 34-13. The only thing worse than an FSU win this week would be Golden finding a way to win. Here starts a mega collapse. Miami is going to go from 3-0 to 3-5, 4-4 at best real quickly. The program will become even more toxic. More banners will be flown. I think they're trying for two for this game instead of just one. I am not completely sure though, I only donated some towards one that I know of.

Anyways, another week of college football where I won't really stress and will watch the Canes, but it will feel like something I've never felt before with them. It feels like the program is what it was pre Lou Saban.

Pitt has Virginia at home this week. Always nervous when Pitt is considered a decent favorite(9 points or so vs Virginia), they find some way to blow it .

Sigh.

This will be the first time I've had to witness Oregon State lose in person to Arizona since 1998.

Re: Week 6 Discussion

I wonder if South Carolina will look alive against LSU. Northwestern against Michigan has game of the week potential, but we'll see if it's actualized. I hope WVU rebounds against the pokes. It would be hilarious if Missouri beat Florida. Cal-Utah has baller potential. We're gonna learn how for real somebody is.

Polls are so dumb. I love them for the sake of making a game interesting, added value and all, but they're objectively foolish. You can't know who the best team is before the season is over; even then, the way schedules work out the best team can lose. I think Alabama is the best team. I certainly don't think Florida (who beat Miss who beat Bama) is better than them, but I'm starting to hope we'll see in the SECCG.

I feel bad for Hawaii. Teams fly thousands of miles to play you and then you get smacked around by jet lagged mid majors.

USC should be able to handle Washington easy but I'm an anxious fan always.

I wanna see Illinois beat Iowa for poops and giggles. I want to see Miami beat the Noles because I always want that. But I doubt it happens.

The funniest thing that could happen this weekend is if Texas beats Oklahoma. There's no reason they should, but there seldom is.

Re: Week 6 Discussion

Crazy that this week is the half way point of the schedule for most teams...feels like we just started.
