No preseason thread yet? PPM is slacking.

Anyway Paul George scored 18 points off 7-15 shooting tonight. Nice to see. Still don't like him playing the 4 though.

Think that's so overblown. He's still gonna have to guard the elite wings, and they're not going to put a slow 4 on him and leave a top perimeter defender on Solomon Hill.... He's going to be a 3 for all intents and purposes. If anything Hill will have to operate more as a 4 than he will, as that's what matchups will dictate.

BTW, how terrible is League Pass. 200 bucks for a worthless product. Can't even watch preseason games on it, like the 2 games that happened yesterday.

Hopefully. I'm sure the lineups will vary depending on matchups, but I just wish we'd go to a more traditional style full time.

PG is already complaining about the new style too. Said it's not fun playing the 4 and wants to talk to Bird and Vogel lol. Of course it's not fun though when you're guarding Anthony Davis.

The reason League Pass didn't have either game on last night was because neither were shown locally...that's not the NBA's fault. Most teams don't televise every preseason game.

Didn't remember hearing about this, but there is now a Time Out clock/timer underneath both shot clocks. I didn't notice it for :20 time outs, but for full ones it is set at 2:15 and the buzzer sounded at :30 and :15 and play started promptly when it expired. Nice touch to keep the action on time and moving.

MKG took a nasty spill and ended up dislocating his shoulder last night. You could tell the second he got up either he popped it out or something else happened. Luckily, it wasn't broken and hopefully he makes it back for the opening of the regular season, but he could be out longer than that (3-12 weeks). Too bad for him because he just can't catch a break with these injuries.
