Controls are horrible

I get that change happens and we have to adapt but these controls are terrible, especially for people like me who don't use the right stick for things like dribbling. The post being moved, not only to the left trigger, but having to hold it to maintain post stance, is ridiculous. Trying to pull off decent post moves is so frustrating. We also don't need three separate buttons for passing, seriously.

I just don't think they needed to change the controls. Hopefully they can allow us to map our own buttons at some point because as a post oriented player it's a nightmare to try and play my game right now.

it's not really any different to holding r2 to sprint or l2 to play intense d, i'm sure if you get your head around that you'll get the hang of it. personally i think the post is much improved.

me too, i thought the first 10 minutes...wtf no screens with circle and other stuff, then realized the new things and now its perfect!
the 3 buttons for pass is a genius thing!

Exactly and I love the fact that if u haven't dribbled and release the Lt, u get a awesome inside pivot very easily

Only control change I don't like is the smart play button is now done with the cross pad instead of L1.

I don't mind different pass options - I do not like icon passing because I feel like I am playing a mini-game within the game just to get the game to function properly.

I know some like it because it avoids the passing logic which fails far too often on its own, so I don't begrudge them. I much rather have a better passing system written and implemented with a simple pass button trigger.

PC controls are a separate issue though; 2K has stopped supporting keyboard mapping and since I need that feature for reliable control usage I might not go forward in the series. The scripting software solutions do not work well for me and so are not a solution.

There's always a small adjustment period to the new controls, but i think they're just fine. NBA Live might be more your speed.
