Looking for playbook with TE emphasis in passing game

Hey I am starting a KU dynasty and looking for a playbook that is fairly run heavy (60-65% run) and 35-40% passing. I like one back with TEs vs having a FB in the backfield to help block, as I feel like FBs just cluster everything up too much.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a standard playbook that put an emphasis on TEs for a big part of their passing game? I can always customize that from there to put some of my favorite running formations.

Try Penn State. Their coach when the game was made was formerly the OC for the Patriots.

I think Penn State would be perfect for you. If you don't like it then Alabama, Syracuse, USC, and VA Tech have all kinds of 2TE sets.

Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford and Wisconsin are all great power run playbooks, but they might have too many I formations for your liking.

stick with the One-Back playbooks, these have a good mix of TE formations. Or Customize one with Ace/Pistol, these will provide you a chance to feature a blocking and receiving TE.

Awesome, thank you all for your replies I really appreciate it!

Sounds like Penn State is a good place to start at least and appears I have several other schools I can check out as well.

I'm very intrigued with the Pistol formations... Have you had much luck running out of Pistol?

Yeah, I've had tons of success running from Pistol Ace and Pistol Ace Twins. Strong Power is the play I primarily run from those sets.

Re: Looking for playbook with TE emphasis in passing game

I despise the I-formations, as you said, I believe the FB clutters everything. Strong and Weak ate the only formations I like with the FB outside of the Ace and Pistol formations with a FB.
Pistol can work with any type of back, Speed or Power. But, the power back is my favorite for this set. I keep my speed backs at 3/4 on depth chart with power back filling my 1/2 slots.
I like Bama PB with replacing spread formations with Strong/Weak sets.

Ohio State's playbook has plenty of options for the TE. Uses the TE in the backfield as a blocker out of shotgun and pistol instead of the fullback as well
