Well it makes sense. Spike is a movie guy.

If you were writing a basketball movie you wouldn't show every single game, only key games.

So you would show a couple games from the high school days, 4 or 5 from college including championship. Then the key games from the rookie year, the ones that define you.

I fully expect those games to have staged scenes where you have to hit a game winner or defend a team mate and take a T. Like in 2k14 (?).

Then the movie ends and youre into standard career.

2K, just give us authentic NBA seasons we've always had. Stop screwing with this to push a forced story. I wanted to work through my rookie year journey and vie for rookie of the year over a compete season.

Is the second season 16 games and 3rd an automatic championship in a best of 3 series? After which you're forced to play a 5 game season in Italy and come back to the league for another 8 game season before forcibly retiring and being moved to MyGM?

Come on 2K. Stop messing with the NBA in an NBA MyCareer.

I know it is hard to believe but once we are thru the "storyboard" part of the mode, it is actually very good. The offday/offseason simulator is a real improvement it seems.
