Three things that bug me in CFM

3 things that annoy me in CFM.. May not seem like a big deal but it's annoying..

1.) when viewing the stats of a player in CFM it doesn't show the teams they played for.. From the main menu it does..
2.) while playing a game you can edit your depth chart however you want it.. In the CFM depth chart only certain players can go to certain positions..
3.) why can't we edit a players position to any position? I can make a ROLB a LOLB but not a MLB..

You can switch player positions in the offseason right after the draft.

That's the only time you can move them to a completely different spot. (You can move guys from LG to RG or LOLB to ROLB, etc whenever)

It is sometimes tricky to move guys where you want though. For instance, the process of moving an undersized faster OT to a TE to be your blocking TE the process goes something like this

OT -> DT
DT -> MLB
MLB -> S
S -> CB
CB -> WR
WR -> TE

Why they still have the restrictions and make you do it in ten steps seems bizarre to me. Teams use OTs as their third TE all the time.

Yeah, 1) bugs me too... It hasn't been in the game since they switched over to the current CFM format back in M13. I think Madden 12 was the last game with the old (proper) player score card in franchise mode.

I hate this. I like to move a fast linemen to be a blocking specialist at fullback for my team. You have to do through all those steps, and then one more as you move them from TE to Fullback. There is no reason that you can't make a tackle a tight end immediately, and vice versa. Teams fill out blocking tight ends, and make them linemen all the time, because they typically have good feet. In Madden, you have to go through 10 position changes to make such a simple, and common, move.

Players stats from previous week still showing up as zeroes in the game when Jim Nantz talks about them is still broken, so that's super special too.

Resetting menus

If I'm looking at my buddies schedule and game stats, don't send me back to my schedule every time. Look at a players card, back to the ALL list, and not the WR tab etc..

This drives me crazy, it's not game breaking or anything, but it's highly annoying and to me just lazy developing. Most of the time your in a menu your going to do multiple things so to bump you completely out of that entire menu instead of back "one spot" so to speak just makes no sense. Glad I'm not the only one who this bugs.
