I'm like u.. EXACTLY. i play 10 min games, too.But i take off penalties, fighting, offside, icing.... (i also raise shooting accuracy to get realistic scores of 4-3, etc) This way, i get to play 10 games a day and finish a season in about 1 week. I can play many seasons this way.
But here's my only complaint, and it might be the same for you and all us guys that play 3 min periods. The last 10 secs of each period, and the last min of game is real time. This really slows the game up and ruins the scoring sheet. here's why. If it's 2-1 with 1 min to go.. often times, it'll end 4-1, with 2 EN goals.. IOW, more than half of my goals in the game are scored in the final min. it's so unbalanced. i hate this.. i've had many many games that were 2-2 into the final min.. and game ends 6-3 because of EN goals.. extra attacker goals, etc..
I wish EA could do what 2k did and make the last min real time.. so it's balanced. OR at least make it an option if we want real time, OR non real time or do like penalty scaling.. we can make last min into 30 sec real time. etc..
This only affects people that play 3 or 4 min periods. I hate when it's 1-1, final min and game ends 5-2. it also affects star players. In 1 season, sid the kid had 181 pts. and 90 of them came in the final min and on EN goals. sometimes he'd get 3 pts in a game in the final minute.
I wish EA can change this and give us the option.
Does anyone know if maybe NHL 16 did this for this yr? I can only dream.
