Post patch LT regression

Please keep this thread respectful.

After installing the patch, I simmed a season and noticed multiple left tackles gave up 25-35 sacks by the end of the year. This was with weekly progression on. I restarted the franchise and bumped the CPU pass blocking to 70 and had the same results. I restarted a 3rd time and imported CPU pass blocking sliders at 70 and again received the same results.

I checked the rosters and noticed many left tackles pass blocking rating dropped from 80s to high 60s after giving up so many sacks. So it appears the regression works, however left tackles are giving up too many sacks and the sliders don't help. Last year the Jags gave up about 70 sacks as a teams so one player giving up 25-35 is a bit much. Let's work together to try different methods to resolve this.

I have sent tweets to Rex at EA as well as Pasta Padre.

Again, please keep negative comments to yourself. Let's be constructive!

The team I played against was called FCS. I don't recognize that school but I'd hate to be their football team in real life. I don't think they're going anywhere this year.

Best thing I have seen so far is testing being done.
Is people play testing changing all the QB's Sense Pressure and Throw Away to Ideal.

Re: Post patch LT regression

Well as someone else tried u can change passing traits of QB to help..u can also change OL's traits of High Motor and Clutch..working on other things but doesn't look to have any success like these two

I really had no idea people simmed so much. I guess EA has not really addressed the sim stat issue. I play so don't see this issue on my end. Perhaps EA doesnt take that into account and there is a need for some balance here with simmed games vs played games.

I think people here were simming to test a theory.

Remember though, if you're playing all 16 games of you franchise, you are leaving the other 240 games in the regular season to be simmed. I don't think seeing the LTs of the other 31 teams regress badly leads to an challenging and enjoyable franchise experience after a few years.
