Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

I'll start..****nning with a speed run style team and a man D once I get to my 80 ovr. Best offensive player right now is a gold 83 Victor Cruz on offense and a 88 playmaker Patrick Peterson on D. I am currently grinding through the NFL Journey solo challenge, having completed rookie level tonight.

Also grinding to get the speed run style Keenan Allen Chargers Captain. I am at 12/24 on the set.

Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

I've been grinding away. Got a pair of 84 offensive tackles Lane Johnson and Joe Staley that have helped anchor my run game.

Halfway through rookie gauntlet and just finished rookie journey.

Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

I still don't have any elites and I am one rating of away from being 70 overall in my style. I have all gold position players except a FB and damn there some expensive gold speed run fullbacks.

I started the ALL-PRO gauntlet today and you get a veteran pack on the first challenge.

Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

72 ovr team with a 21 ovr ground and pound rating. Mariota at QB, Gronk at TE, and Bo at RB.

On D I have Chandler Jones, Stevie Brown, Dee Milliner, and Vincent Rey.

Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

Since I've decided to wait on starting my connected franchise since I want EA to iron out the kinks I decided to play Madden Ultimate Team for the first time ever.... yea.

I played a CRAP-TON of Solo Challenges... those are interesting and even though they're easy they got me a lot of great practice in to get use to the game. I did the short pass solo challenges and won... not moving on to other stuff. I just don't really know what to do. I'm 2-1 in the head-to-head seasons but my loss came to a guy with Antonio Brown elite and he was just OP as hell vs my average joe of a team that has guys like Charles Tillman.

Does anyone have any advice on tips or ideas of what to focus on? I would like to focus on sets but they don't seem to be worth it... for example, I played one of the Legend challenge games and beat the Ravens for the Shannon Sharpe and I thought that if you beat them you would GET that legend, instead I unlocked 1 thing of 8 things you need to redeem him which is crazy in my mind. Same way in how do you complete the captain sets or stuff like that when in reality wouldn't buying the elite player you get from that be cheaper than buying all the players it would require to unlock it?

Also some tips on the auction market would be nice... in my 2 pro packs the 2 gold players I got was an Elite 87 OVR Jason Witten and Gold 84 OVR Larry Fitzgerald. Should I keep those guys, sell them (depending on since this is the early release of the game), or send them to my sets?

Re: Madden 16 MUT Progress

What a season!

I went 8-0 and got a 1st-round bye in my first MUT season but got knocked out of the divisional round because my QB (Hutson Mason) got sacked and fumbled the ball at my opponent's 14 yard line which got returned for a TD. Score was 17-14 before the turnover.
