Lol at those that purchased Patriotic gear before the cap.

This also means the end of playing the market for some since chasing 450,000 is not worth the time.

Oh well, I guess back to actually playing baseball.

I'd been wondering how to sell gear for a while now.
Turns out you have to do it from the main menu.
So I'm scrolling through this morning, and notice that I have these Patriotic batting gloves. Interesting, I think to myself, I wonder how I got these?

I love America-- and have great respect for those who risked (and sacrificed) their lives to acquire freedom from the British. But I'm not a big "flag waiver", if you will. The Patriotic gear isn't quite my style.

So I checked out the market. There were offers to buy the gloves for $499,000. It seemed too good to be true. But now I am rich.

A week ago you could have sold that for millions. You missed out.

Last week u could have sold those for possibly 20+ million!

The interesting thing about the stub cap is that it guarantees nobody else will ever get patriotic gear again. Somebody with millions of stubs is 8-15 orders deep at 499,999 on the sell side for all of them. This means people can't even list them on the buy side because you can't go over 499,999.

If you want one now, you'd have to put up a buy order for 499,999 and get in line behind the guy with all the orders up. With how limited the stuff is, I don't think those orders will ever be filled. One guy basically blocked the rest of the community from ever owning patriotic equipment.

I'm really glad I didn't sell my complete set of them when the prices were crazy. I'd never get them back.

Edit: guess the 10,000,000 stub cap fixed all that.

They've also put patriotic gear back into circulation so it generates randomly again. Expect prices to go down. I see Rawlings Patrioic Excellence for buy/sell 99,999/45,000 now.
