USA traveled into the noisy Kibbie Dome to decide the Sunbelt in a classic user gm match up. The Vandals were hitting on all cylinders this night and came away with the win at home. Momentum was determined early when an Idaho drive was thwarted by an INT down around the goal line... but the USA defender stumbled back into the end zone for a safety. Idaho scored on the next possession and that seemed to give Idaho all the mojo for the rest of the game. We expect a rematch on USA turf next season and we expect USA will be ready with revenge on their minds

The bad mojo hurt on the safety. I think what really put Idaho up big, was in the late in 2nd quarter when I was down 16-0 I threw a pick. If I could have scored there, I would have been in decent shape as I opened the ball in the 2nd half. I got several first half picks, but I threw 3. My offense gets off to a slow start on the road. I hope to have more speed to matchup with Idaho better next year.
