Gamestop Pre-Order Bonus on Deluxe Edition is a scam...

How come if you pre-order the "Standard" Edition, Gamestop gives you a code on your receipt for 10 Free Pro-Packs. However if you Pre-Order the "Deluxe" Edition your code is in the box. It's in the box becuase you pay an extra $10 bucks for it. That's not a pre-order bonus. That's called getting what you paid for. That code in the box has nothing to do with pre-ordering Does anyone know if you get the Gamestop 10 Pack Pre-Order bonus will be on your receipt when buying the Deluxe Edition? If so than that would make it ok....otherwise...SCAM

If you don't get the code on receipt then return the game right then and there. Check the box to see if it says "code included".

the horror stories about certain stores that may or may not share that name had me keeping my distance a long time ago.


we should keep this to a madden discussion, because "scam" and "gamestop" in the same thread will not lead to good places.

Bestbuys offer of the GCU discount is what got me. I wanted to preorder Madden (deluxe) and MSGV:PP, and getting the membership for $30 with the two discounted games was only $4 more than the two games at original price. Now for preordering NBA 2k15, the $79.99 edition, it comes down in price to $64

This means basically all my future orders will come from bestbuy, but that doesn't really bother me. If I'm that desperate for pre-order offers from another store then I'll just get it if its actually worth it, but $12 off every $60 game is nice

Bleedgreen710 The 36 packs come with Deluxe Edition regardless of preorder and you pay $10 extra. While it's worth purchasing, it's no preorder bonus as they would have you think. Very misleading

It is a nice deal in addition some games that you preorder at bestbuy you get a $10 reward zone certificate on future purchases. Wish it was for every game but only specific ones
