Alright guys! For those of you who followed and contributed to this thread last year, I'm getting the one for this year ready once again. I rearranged all the rosters according to the off season transactions. Any contributions are appreciated as well.

By watching the various trailers and gameplay videos, here are some new faces I spotted in this year's game:

Here are some I can't confirm because either the shots happen too fast, or they have beards (maybe it's just the beard that looks different on a generic face):

I posted about the again-new editing options for '16 in an EA forums thread that a NHL-dev was responding to. I inquired about seeing an option for "player appearance" and asked the question; would users be able to change NHL player faces because EA does such a terrible job. I used Matt Martin as an example, saying that Martin has had a generic face that looks like Tiny Tim for the past 3 or 4 seasons.


A dev named Ben responded saying something like: "no, you can not changed licensed player faces, but you should be happy to know that Matt Martin has his own face now."


So, I guess Matt Martin will have his own face.


Also, in a video, I forget what it was showcasing, but the Islanders were one of the teams and it looked like Josh Bailey and Cal Clutterbuck had faces that at least resembled their likeness, respectively. This might suggest they are a good deal more cyberfaces or EA is using the generic faces better.

Awesome! I'll add Martin to the list. I noticed him in the player classes screenshot seen below:


Tyson Barrie and Mikael Granlund were used for Offensive Denfenseman and Playmaker respectively. They look quite good at a distance. I would assume they have been scanned given they were used for the screenshots.
