Setting up self imposed limitations to make master league more filfilling

What rules and limitations do you create in master league to make it more realistic and more rewarding?

such as transfer players mostly come from home country (italy, serie a for example)

no spending more than 40% of the club's money on a single player

not trading away more than 2-3 players, or gaining 2-3 players in a season.

I only play long shots with players who would shoot from a distance ... so many of my goals are long shots; too many.

thought of this-

your trade player can't be better than your best player

only trade 2 players in a year

second trade player can't be better than top 3 players on the team


the bottom players - average last 5 players on the team and you can buy as many players as you want under that number.
