Has anyone............

seen the rain ? I can hear the thunder and the commentary describes that the weather 'system' being right over the stadium, or whatever, mid game...........but no rain falls.
And is there no longer a Contract Status page in the game.....as there was in '13 ?

You must choose the weather now pre-game.
It's no longer random(wish it was though)
For contracts....I think you just have the manage roster screen ....contracts and sort them.

Re: Has anyone............

Contract status can be found in the offseason. Go to schedule and press X on the current day and Contract status should be listed under manage contracts in the pop up.

As for rain, you can't really see it while playing, except for when they pan the camera out and show a view of the whole stadium. Then you can slightly see it, but when you're on the field, it may as well not be raining.

In short, the rain is there, but you just can't see it.

Weather isn't random anymore. I may be anal but how I pick the weather is by using weather channel app and selecting the weather for the city I'm playing in that day. I get variation that way.

Re: Has anyone............

I have visually seen the rain quite a bit.

Re: Has anyone............

I've seen it in the one game I made it happen, I just love the presentation too much when it's clear out to play with it. I think you missed a huge opportunity with the thread title. You could have named it "I wanna know...."

Re: Has anyone............

Thanks guys. Actually saw rain (at last) whilst playing a game in Cincinatti tonight whilst in the bullpen!! only had the game three days so that's cool to know its there and figured that's why the soil looks wet all game. Thanks for info on Contact status also.

Re: Has anyone............

Does the weather have ANY impact on games (other than if you happen to get a windy day)?

Heat wears guys down more and making the balls more "lively"? Rain impacting pitcher control and throwing accuracy (wet baseballs), etc? Maybe slowing down base runners some?

Anything? Just cosmetic?
