F1 2015: The Top Five Tracks

Regardless of what professional racing series an individual may follow, it does not change the fact that each series has certain locales that are, simply put, more exciting than the others. This fact rings true just as much in the genre of video game racing as it does in real life. And what I mean by this is that certain tracks promote better racing in regards to strategy, passing and overall approach. With that in mind, and with the new F1 2015 title from Codemasters hitting retail shelves last week, here is a look at my five favorite tracks in F1 2015.

Yeah, Canada is a great track, they toss on the super soft tires and there is a ton of overtaking. It's one of the few tracks where it isn't a pretty car parade waiting for mechanical failure.

My Top 5 would have to be:

1. Air Bahrain
2. Spa
3. Canada
4. America
5. Monaco

Tough to pick a top 5. Almost easier to single out the tracks that aren't enjoyable. I don't care for Shanghai that much and still keep hoping the Italian Grand Prix will move to Imola.

Re: F1 2015: The Top Five Tracks

I'd go for
5. Singapore - The final sector specifically is nice and technical, I don't care for the first sector at all, it just passes me by a lot.

4. Abu Dhabi - mainly for the transition, this is the only circuit i switch to 100% race distance in previous games because that was the only time you got the transition.

3. Melbourne - really nice track which just flows really well, the chicanes in the second sector are great to go through if you have a well balanced car.

2. Brazil - I just love the feeling of blitzing through a lap in just over a minute (my record qualifying lap here was a 1:07 or something crazy) and there aren't any parts I dislike. In the twists in the middle of the track I think that is the only part of any circuit in a Codies F1 game you felt like you had realistic grip.

1. Canada - again a really quick track where the laps just disappear. Even in the rain it's so fun to drive because the real life circuit has thrown up so many great races, especially that 2011 race, which I always imagine if I'm facing wet conditions in Canada.
