Hitting for the cycle

Ok so I finally captured what's been eluding my grasp for years ladies and gents! I finally did the unthinkable! I've been close about a hundred times, but never have I completed it. This is my biggest "show moment" since forever I guess.

I did it with the last person I'd ever think I'd accomplish it with. That and it was in the NL Wild card game! One fun game, as you can tell by the box score. I hit a lead off triple, then a 2R HR, then a single, single, and finally got a double(stopped at 2nd even though I could've gotten 3rd easily)

I didn't see another thread like this so if you are close, or finally got it, post some proof here!

I did this recently in RTTS while in Double-A, I was so excited and then disappointed because while they acknowledged it in game, after the game I got no extra training points for the achievement.

I've been playing The Show since about '06, and I finally got one about a month ago (on the PS3 version) with Nori Aoki. First was the dinger, which barely cleared the wall. Last was the triple, appropriately hit into Triple's Alley at AT&T Park. It was pretty nice to finally check that off my list! (Photo in my arena.)

Re: Hitting for the cycle

I think it was 14 that had the player specific achievements. I had abused the poor trade logic and managed to get Mike Trout on my team. His achievement was "hit for the cycle and steal two bases".

There was one game where I was three for three with a HR, 3B, 2B and a walk. I had stolen third twice. All I needed was a single. Trout comes up to bat, and smacks a solid ball opposite field.

Then the right fielder charged in and made a diving superman catch. And a little bit of me died.

Re: Hitting for the cycle

Going into the final game of my third year in road to the show, I needed to go like 5 for 5 in order to get my average up to .320. I ended up somehow hitting for the cycle, and my average ended up at .321 for the season. I couldn't believe it, I won't forget about that game for a very long time.
