Anyone know how the hell to get out of the thick stuff (Chambers Bay)? I cant for the life of me get out of that stuff, usually end up maxing strokes. What are some strategies you guys are using to get out of the thicker rough?

I usually will club up 2 or 3. So from a recommended 8iron to like a 6 or even 5iron. So far works okay for me! Playing tour difficulty also!
