IDAHO RTA. Wins 52-38 at ARK ST.

Soph QB Matt Linehan follows up his stunning performance at Florida (a loss) with another gem. This time he scored 4 Td passes off play action and a 5th Td was a wide open slant. Our true freshman FB who came in with a receiving apptitude, brought in two easy TDs wide open off the PA. Our starting RB who had a league leading 12 receptions last week, took to the ground this time for 200 yds.

Idaho defense was once again burned for some long TD runs and allowed yet another opposing RB to put up huge player of the week type numbers.

The bright spot on defense was our pass rush which seemed to contain the Ark st QB most of the game. The big pass plays against us were CPU gone crazy type plays. On two TD passes we gave up... we had slammed into the QB and he was on his way to flipping upside down. on both plays the QB was almost parallel to the ground when he released 40+ ys passes right on the money. Very strange. But we are ok with that because we got to the QB and 9 of 10 times that play is a sack.

Must say I am disappointed in our secondary. We knew it would be a weak spot since 2 walk on CB's were required to fill out our roster.. but man... we are just slow, weak, we can't jump, and we are not making plays on the ball at all. There were two ARk St. passes that were in the air just waiting to be picked. Our CB was in position, but the Ark St. WR just went over top of us and muscled us out of the way. Shame shame shame.

We might be advancing early, maybe tonight, being there is only 1 user match up left. San Jose is out of town for the weekend and I had to put him on autopilot.
