need urgent help with this game

hi guys, my problem is this.....i play the game on legend default for both hitting and pitching,now when i play a random play now game,the game plays great, i get good hits, cpu beats me up from time to time, but thats baseball right......however...everytime i try and start a franchise using the same settings, all of a sudden the cpu will hit everything in site.and their pitching is damn hard to hit or be patient on.my question is why does the game play differently in offline exhibition mode compared to franchise. its getting frustrating because i love the game plays for me in exhibition mode. am i missing something?does something change the settings when you hit franchise mode.any help would be greatly appreciated on the subject

Did you load your sliders into your franchise? You need to start your franchise and then load the sliders. Then when you save your franchise your sliders will stay set.

nah i dont use sliders. i play on default
