Rocket League Available Now, Free for PS Plus Subscribers (PC, PS4)

Rocket League is available now on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4 for $19.99 or free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The PlayStation 4 version weighs in at 1.4GB, with a larger 1.6GB release day patch to go along with it. PlayStation 4 users will also have exclusive access to Twisted Metal's own Sweet Tooth, as a playable vehicle. Check out the trailer here.

For those unaware of Rocket League, we played it at E3 and loved it. In short, it's a multiplayer-focused game where you play soccer with cars.

Tried to play online, but got a message that no servers were online. So I played an exhibition game and a season game. I was having trouble making contact with the ball, I seemed to zoom right past it, while the AI players were right where they should be to hit it. It's fun, should be even better once online play is up and running.

The servers are down since launch. The devs are trying to fix the problem but the game sold thousands of copies and they're now having trouble keeping the servers alive.

If you have PS+ and haven't downloaded this game yet, you need to do it now. Tons of arcade sports fun. Haven't stopped playing it for the last two days.
