MY PLAYER/ CAP ROSTER QUESTION

I created each NBA rookie drafted as CAP's and put them on their respective teams. I went to use MY Player career mode and When I got drafted to the T Wolves, Karl Anthony Towns or non of the rookies are on their respective teams. Did I do something wrong or is it a glitch? I even tried using players already on the game changing their names, height and weight and attributes and it still wont work. I need help or advice if any! THANK YOU!

I know it sucks, but custom rosters are not allowed in my player.
