Coors field park effects?

Does the game model the high altitude coors park effect?

It doesn't feel like it when I play. I find it to be one of the harder parks to homers in.

Re: Coors field park effects?

Same here. Now, my experience is still very limited. I've only played 12 franchise games and only three at home, but in series at Milwaukee (won 2/3), at San Francisco (swept the Giants) and at LA Dodgers (won 2/3), I have jacked at least two every game.

The three home games at Coors Field so far, not a single home run, not even so much as a triple, and I got swept by and had my *** handed to me by the Cubs.

Re: Coors field park effects?

It has never had any effect. How one can say otherwise is really reaching. Even if it were somehow put in the game, how are you going to quantify it? You can't. One might first assume by home runs, but it doesn't give up the most in the league, and is generally down the list a good bit. The wall distances generally compensate for any gains in ball flight that the altitude provides, and having the largest field surface area, you are more prone to give up more doubles than anything. Either way, in the game, it always plays like any other park. In the end, good pitching will rule the day anywhere.

It certainly has a effect, I've noticed that the ball carries more in in the real home run ballparks like Coors, Yankee and Arizona. Its also almost impossible to hit a homer in Citi.

It does have an effect. I remember a dev talking about it.
