Meter or Pure analog pitching?

WHich is more accurate? I currently use meter and have an excellent era, but I've been thinking about trying out pure analog.

Re: Meter or Pure analog pitching?

I use analog because it misses where I miss.

Late on the release point goes low, early goes high, and missing the target makes the ball miss left/right..

So when I serve one up and it gets murdered, I can't blame anything but my own thumbs.

Re: Meter or Pure analog pitching?

I use analog and I'll never go back to meter. One of the biggest advantages is that with analog, if you miss your spot to the right, then that is there the pitch will end up, to the right. With meter, if you miss your spot, it's kind of random where the ball ends up.
I also find it easier to control the analog meter and put it where I want rather than trying to time the meter right. I can never get the timing down

I use meter, but I played a lot of MVP 2004+2005 which used meter pitching and I've gotten used to the timing. The only annoying aspect is that misses that are off by a few ticks end up going to random spots.

Analog pitching for me and for the same reasons that others have said. For the most part, you know where you are going to miss and you cannot blame anyone but yourself. It can be a horrible feeling though when you are trying to get a slider off the plate or something and realize you just left it over the middle and know the guy is going to crush it.

I use pulse mainly because it's speedy and doesn't rely on the pitching motion. But I also realize it's probably not the most accurate but I enjoy it the most so I don't mind
