2KMTCentral - NBA 2K15 MyTEAM Player Database

Hi everyone! I've been working on a website for the past couple of weeks containing a database of (almost) all MyTeam players and their ratings/attributes, similar to Futhead/Futwiz for FIFA Ultimate Team. I would love to hear your feedback and suggestions.

The site is already public at 2KMTCentral and if you would like to keep updated with development you can follow our twitter @2KMTCentral.

Some of the features available are:

• Filter and sort players by average of chosen attributes (e.g. 3pt + quickness + passing for a PG)
• Compare up to 4 players side-by-side
• View collection players and their rewards
• Lineup creation
• Comment and vote on players, collections, etc
• Mobile site

Very soon there will be more such as:

• Player prices
• MyTEAM news, tips and guides

Some questions I suspect will get asked:
Where is player XYZ/Why is player XYZs attribute wrong?

The entire database has been populated manually by myself and many great people from Reddit who helped out, huge thanks to them! There are still about 250 players yet to be added, mostly historics and emerald players (you can see on the collections page). What are the INS/OUT/PLY/ATH/DEF/REB ratings?

To make it as easy as possible to compare players, each player will have 6 ratings: inside scoring, outside scoring, playmaking, athleticism, defending and rebounding; these will be automatically generated based on the player attributes and their positions. For example a center's athleticism rating will mostly be affected by their strength and lightly affected by quickness and speed, or vice-verca for guards. The actual formulas used to calculate these values can be seen here. Since the ratings depend on a player's position, there may be cases where, for example, a centers outside shooting is better than a shooting guards, but this is nothing unusual.

Do you have any plan on adding tendency values as it's pretty big factor in this mode as well as attributes.

Never understood this, how do tendencies affect the game in MyTEAM? Are they not just there to tell the CPU how to play with a player (e.g. CP3 high alley oop pass tendency to Griffin), it has no effect when you are controlling the player.

Tendencies are important because of lots of things. Off ball cutting, where a player sets up (i.e. Rodman), board crashing, etc..........

Great site man! Yeah, the ability to make lineups on it would be sweet.

Also, maybe add like the average price of players, but that'd be pretty hard considering there are different prices by system

It has an effect on how often your player will either dunk or go for a layup for instance.
