Bunts are such a glaring problem compared to everything else

Bunts are ridiculous in this game. It seems worse than last year. Last year I was aware that turning pitchers bunt rating to even 0 made little difference and it was annoying but this year it's a bigger problem. No matter who is bunting it feels like they all place the ball perfectly towards the 3rd base line.

Looking at Nomo's CPU v CPU work you can see all of the improvements they have made to make the engine closer than ever before in terms of MLB stats, but bunts remain a PITA to deal with and watch.

I just played the braves and Eric Young bunted all four times he was up to bat. Was stupid! Needs to be resolved.

That's weird it seems like the CPU rarely bunts in my games. And when I do bunt I pretty much have gotten thrown out every time, even with Billy Hamilton.

I've had the CPU pull a suicide squeeze two out of my last four games. And at least two bunt attempts in each game thus far. And they've all been perfect bunts.

This tends to happen more if you are pounding the strike zone all game. The CPU will try the squeeze more often if they think a stike is coming. If you feel it coming try and throw a ball outside of the zone.

This is definitely true, I've caught the CPU out on a couple of squeeze attempts with an intentional ball outside the strike zone (not even a pitchout).

Same for hit and runs, it's much more aggressive on the bases in general this year. Maybe a little too aggressive, but I haven't seen it nearly as bad as others have.

Cpu rarely bunts on me and when they do its always a correct situation to

I am only tracking sacrifice bunts in CPU vs. CPU games so I cannot back up with stats, but my impression is also that bunting (for base hit as well as in squeeze situations) is attempted a little too often.
