Dynamic difficulty changing too much with RTTS

So I just started my RTTS and have used dynamic difficulty since I got the game (I had only played exhibition games prior to starting RTTS). I have noticed that the dynamic difficulty changes a lot while I am playing rtts. It seems to jump around a lot based on just each at bat i have instead of sort of judging over a series of at bats. For example in one game I think I went from rookie+ with one plus to rookie+ with four pluses by the end of the game because I had a few hits. That seems like a really large jump and during exhibition games it would not jump up anywhere near that fast.

You can adjust the dynamic difficulty sensitivity in the sliders section of the pause menu.
