Stubs management

I have really mismanaged my stubs up to this point. I had great luck with my anniversary packs getting three golds and a diamond Cano and diamond bat. This was bad for me because I know thought I had good pack luck. Since then I've opened almost forty more packs and got two gold players. I sold a Hanley for 17k and used it all to open more packs and only got one gold, David Wright.

My pack luck has run out but I still enjoy doing it. I decided to do the Rockies collection because it was easy and the highest player was only 3k. I'm thinking about doing more collections because I get stubs faster, but I like my current outfield and all the cheap collections are outfielders.

Now this takes me to where I am now. Before when I had large sums of stubs I had no clear plan. I just messed around and banked on packs. But I sold my Wright and Cashner and have 20k in stubs. Before i spend a cent of it I want some advice. How should I go about turning this 20k into more? What's the best plan? Thank you in advance.

Re: Stubs management

How is the highest Rockies player 3k? Tulo and Cargo surely go for more than that.

Luckily you don't need any player higher than the legend himself. I only needed arenado.

With a little bit of patience you'll find it easier to "Flip" higher priced cards for a profit.

I usually create a "Buy" order before I play any game, for a card that has potential to make a profit.

If someone sells me that card while I am playing, great!

I would then turn around and put that card back up for a small mark up, but something that generates me 500+ profit.

Split that 20k into 2 x 10k cards, and look for a similar profit on each and then you'll be earning a steady cash flow in no time.

Ok. I can totally handle that lol. Are there any price guides? Do you have any advice on what players in particular to target and what their usual range is? Thank you so much

No I havent found any price guides for DD.

But eventually you'll learn the market and you'll see a good deal and wont hesitate to pull the trigger.

Just take your time and learn before you drop coin on someone because their price could be inflated due to the time of day etc.

Community challenges are useful as well. Although there aren't many good ones besides the kluber one, I found one that gives 400 and cost 100 using the Tigers and you have to throw a runner out from the OF. Good challenge if you feel like opening a pack and wanna turn a quick profit

I dabbled with the CC. Stupid me thought paying 500 and getting 500 actually meant I made 500. The worst part was I actually failed as many times as I won. I kept retrying too because I thought I was making stubs. I'm so naive lol. I tried that kluber one twice and failed both times. Stupid Eaton kept bunting and when he didn't he hit a sac fly. I'm done with those, not worth the gamble.
