This thread will be used for creating players to populate the fictional roster I will be using in my player dynasty 'Chasing Dreams: the Jesse Taylor Story, a Player Dynasty (NBA 2k15 PS4)

To lay some ground rules, I will be admitting 149 players for the 15 varsity squads I am creating (150 minus taylor, the main character), of these, 125 will be juniors or seniors, and the rest can be sophomores or freshmen.

I will also only be allowing a small amount of higher level recruits.

Strengths: Very long and versatile wing player. Explosive leaper possessing a nice first step. Extremely quick off the floor, especially on his second and third jumps. His big strides allow him to run the floor with the best of them and his length allows him to finish on difficult drives. Is most effective shooting one or two dribble pull ups from midrange. A high release and great elevation make it difficult to contest his shot. Stays within himself, rarely getting out of his element to force plays. Possesses a great feel for the game and sees the floor exceptionally well, especially for a player his age. Delivers well timed and precise passes showing off his mature decision making. Defensively, has all the tools to become great. A player possessing his type of length and athleticism to go along with great lateral foot speed is a rarity. Could eventually become a defender capable of guarding all 5 positions on the floor

Weaknesses: His frame is frail looking and he needs to put on weight and add muscle He is easily thrown off balance by the slightest contact, making his finishes that much more difficult, as a result he shies away from contact and settles for jump shots. Lacks confidence handling the ball with his left hand and also struggles finishing on that side of the hoop because he always tries to switch the ball back to his dominant right hand. He dribbles the ball too high and becomes an easy strip victim in traffic. Does not have the best rebounding numbers, his length and athleticism are negated on the boards because he gets pushed out of position too easily. He is a rhythm and flow kind of player, when things are going well, look out, but when hes off, his game goes downhill fast. Gets overly passive and defers to his teammates too often. At times he seems to be coasting and he gets lost in the action. Reacts defensively as opposed to anticipating, leaving him out of position, but with more experience that should change.

- A tremendous athlete who can do nearly anything offensively. He has great length for a 2 guard with the ideal height. He can shoot lights out from anywhere on the floor on or off the dribble. His athleticism is remarkable, he's fast and an explosive leaper. He's pretty flashy with his dunks especially in transition where he just shows off. Capable of taking contact and still finish around the basket. However what surprises scouts most is his outstanding ball handling and his ability to see the floor. He can get pass some of the best defenders and be careful because he won't hesitate to break your ankles. He knows where his teammates are all the time and likes getting them involved. His vision and high basketball IQ is extraordinary can pass the ball in the tightest of spots and aware of what's going on on the court.

- He can hold his own defensively but against an exceptional offensive player he is a liability. He barely can position himself for rebounds and sometimes you can see the lack of desire to grab boards. With his reach its sad that he doesn't know how to use it to intercept passes or disrupt offenses. He needs to get stronger won't be able to out muscle bigger guards.

Patrick didn't play serious competitive basketball until high school, but opened some eyes by the end of his first season. His raw athleticism and the skill he already has shows that he has a very high ceiling and has great potential. He works quietly but efficiently on offense, and always has the ball at the end of close games where his team is trailing. He can create turnovers on defense and doesn't have trouble holding great offensive players to average performances. If he drives the lane, you better get out of the way or you may end up on a poster.

And then tragedy happened. In the first game of the season of his junior year, his delivery went awry and Trout collapsed to the ground, holding his arm in severe pain. It was a torn UCL. He got Tommy John surgery. He tried to come back for the last game, but got shelled for 7 runs in the first inning. He quit baseball. Then basketball season came. He remembered playing outfield in Little League and making leaping catches. So he tried out and made the team. And Marion Trout's second career was born.

Ian can give you a few garbage points and around 10 rebounds a game, but his real value comes outside the box score. Even when he's not getting the rebound, he's still boxing out and keeping it away from his man. And when he is getting rebounds, he's doing it through timing, not jumping or height. The same goes for his blocks. Though he is a bad shot blocker, he can often get them through timing, and is a good rim protector. He can also shut down defender on the perimeter, allowing him to guard both his natural positions shooting guards, and even a few centers. He has excellent court vision for a small forward, and an even more willing passer. Unfortunately, he lacks aggression. He also is a liability on offense unless completely open from midrange, putbacks, and pick and rolls. His lack of athleticism can be exploited.
