R.B.I Baseball 15- Tips, Suggestions, Gameplay.

Hey Guys, let me start off by saying I know this game isnt The Show or close to it, but if your like me who has an Xbox One this is our only option for baseball.

I figured we can use this thread for an all around RBI forum.
-Exchange tips
-Discuss cool animations and things that happened,
-Suggestions for improvement by patch or future
-Roster Update news
-"little things" Details of things you noticed

Personally I think this game is great for $20 bucks. I never owned last years and had a PS3 before and played the show for years before I got my One at launch. I like the stadiums, night and day games, HR animations and the Dynamic Camera is pretty great.

P.S. If you own The Show or hated last years and dont want to buy it again please don't come on and constantly bash it on this thread. This is for people who are serious about RBI and enjoy it

I am also enjoying this game. I still fire up my old NES and play original RBI.

Anyway, tips, I've seen lots of people of trouble on fly balls. OLD SCHOOL MAN, gotta listen to the whooooooooop........oooooooooooooooooop. That middle section is my best text effort to show the height of the ball before its decent. That was old school NES and I love that about it.

Play behind the ball marker and start inching in on the .....ooooooop because the ball is coming down. Easier to come in on it then it is to chase it. Practice. Lot of fun

I actually switched to the static ballmarker. I was dropping too many. I'm thinking of switching to hard difficulty because I read the skill gap between good players and bad players. I'm 6-7 in my season so I'm not sure

Re: R.B.I Baseball 15- Tips, Suggestions, Gameplay.

I played the other day vs my brother in law. He's a gamer and kills me in EVERYTHING!

Well, he can't catch fly balls. I whomped him. It takes some practice. I'm 36 and grew up with no ball markers. Had to learn to judge from the sound effects. FUN. Actually makes misjuduging a ball part of the experience.

Only time I have any issues is on the balls that hook or slice down the line. But realizing now how to play those. Defense is fun.

Had a few glitches though where my ss wouldn't flip to 2b for the lead out. Weird

I bought the game on PC but have to wait until the 30th for it to release. I'm looking forward to playing it. I only have vague memories of RBI since I never actually owned it, but my all-time favorite sports game is still Baseball Stars. I miss arcadey sports games like that, so I'm glad to see RBI come back.

fly balls!!!

I know Im 36 now and its been years, but maybe I was mistaken how good I used to be at RBI on the NES? Lol...of course I am also using the Twins. Could be something to do with it. (outside of my tracking down fly balls)

On the other hand...lovin the comeback of RBI

Here's a tip, don't try and start a 3-6-3 double play. Your first baseman throws the ball into left field every time.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. I do have a PS4 and The Show but haven't even opened it. This game is perfect for pick up and play games and reminds me so much of the old games. I'm hoping the release a roster update soon. As terrible as Chris Davis can be, it feels strange not having him on the O's.
