I haven't regularly played the Show since 2010 and ...

For longtime Show players: I haven't regularly played MLB the Show since 2010. I was just wondering ... what kind of learning curve do you think there would be for someone who hasn't played the Show in recent years? Graphics aside, has the game (specifically controls and gameplay) changed a lot?

I'm thinking about picking up the latest version, but I have limited weekly gaming time and figured I'd see what you guys think. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The learning curve shouldn't be an issue. If time is a factor, the player lock is good if you could just play as one player.

I hadn't bought a Show game since MLB10, and it took me a few days to get better at the timing. Sill not where I was with it.

One thing for me was that I found "directional" hitting to be unrealistic and non-intuitive. So using zone may or may not help your transition.

Dynamic difficulty helps a ton too.
