Anyone else noticing CPU cheese?

It may be all in my head, but it seems every time I score (no matter the total of runs), the CPU always comes back in the next inning and either a. Ties the game or b. Takes the lead. It's almost as if opposing teams get an attribute upgrade every time you score so it keeps games close. Madden and NBA2K are known for doing this, and I'm afraid The Show might be the same now.

I already know what I'm going to get by making this thread. I'm going to have people come in here and tell me I'm just raging or I'm just complaining, which is not the case. I don't mind losing. This is just something I've noticed in my 20-25 games I've played so far. I wish I would have saved screenshots of each box score, but of the 20-25, I'd say about 80% of the games, I'm having this problem. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

I'm using Armor & Sword's Hybrid Quick Count sliders.

Re: Anyone else noticing CPU cheese?

I'm going to assume that you're changing up your pitch types and locations to try to keep opposing hitters off balance, right?

Example: You're not doing fastball, fastball, off speed all the time.

Also, if you're facing a guy that is on a hot-streak or even "running hot" in your game and it's a hitter favorable count, you do NOT throw him something anywhere near the strike zone or he'll light you up.

I've intentionally walked guys that I had a feeling were going to destroy me. Then I strike out the next batter up.

Just because it's a 3-2 count does not mean you should be throwing a strike the next pitch, not even close. It depends on who's batting.

A subtle way of saying the infamous "come back code"??!?..Seriously, it's not like that. You have just been unlucky. No rubberband AI in this game.

Re: Anyone else noticing CPU cheese?

Although i don't believe there's an actual comeback code implemented, sometimes it truly does seem that way. For example, my first game I completed this year, I was winning 4-0 going into the bottom of the 9th. I give up a few hits, no biggie. I get 2 outs, and then 3 straight errors. 3. Straight. Errors. All of a sudden, it's 4-4 and we go to the 10th. (I did still win though )
