RTTS: Rookies rated 97, 98, 99
Having been an xbox owner for a long time, last year was the first time I really got to play The Show.
I loved the game. It was really a lot of fun, especially RTTS.
However, I had one major frustration with it the more seasons I completed.
That was that guys would enter the league with incredibly high overall ratings. Not just once, but every year. I played over 8 seasons and rookies won the MVP on six occasions (AL and NL), and were often close in many other years too.
Those same players would then regress to a more plausible 78, 82 or whatever in their sophmore year.
However, it had a bearing on the league as a whole, but also things like my team. I was on the Braves and had my character, Jason Heyward and Justin Upton, among the best hitters in the league at that point. Then some random rookie relegates Upton to the bench. It was distracting.
Anyway, that's a long description, but is anyone aware if this has been fixed? Or was I only one seeing this?
