A problem with year to year saves

When I load up my save file from mlb 14 there are players that are missing and have been replaced with generuc randomized guys, anyone else having this issue?

If the players retired in real life (Jeter, Konerko) they will be replaced by generic faces. Same attributes though.

Also any created players from the OS roster, they will be replaced by generated players

Are you sure about this?
That wouldn't really make sense that all created/generated players are replaced each year.
Would kind of defeat the purpose of Y2Y saves in one pretty big way(building your franchise)

I believe it is just "real" mlb players that are no longer part of the mlbpa.

When I tested it in studio all the created players transferred over.

I thought I remembered reading something from Russell on this, but I very well could be wrong. I'm just as confused lol

We only remove players who are no longer a part of the Players Association. We update all the MLB players created by us.

If you see otherwise please update the situation in this thread please.
