Follow throughs and batting stances

I was just curious if small things like follow-through's ever get updated during roster updates?

I know last year it used to drive me crazy watching Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Reyes using one hand and follow throughs. Nice to see the Edwin's has been updated for this year.

According to the live stream Jose is still using the one-handed follow through. In real life he uses a two-handed follow through from the left side and a one-handed follow through from the right side.

I would love to see switch hitters have the option to have two different batting stance is from either side of the plate.

If you're not playing online you can always edit them yourself. I know in MLB 13 I had to give JJ Hardy a 2 handed follow through ever update. Same thing with Nelson Cruz last year.

I'd also love to see two batting stances for switch hitters. Matt Wieters has his hands much higher on his right handed swing than his left

swing animations are such a crucial part of this game. luckily, they do well in this department a lot of the time. having the correct stance is huge for me and i bet a lot of others too lol

Edwins was great, tho I'll be honest not sure if I edited the two hand follow through. You'll be happy to know they both got updated stances and follow throughs but again I think Edwins is great the way it is/was in mlb 14

Re: Follow throughs and batting stances

I end up changing the stance of some of my players because at least to me, it seems to effect timing and how well I hit with them.

On a related note, pitching style is HUGE on how a guy plays for me. I very frequently will change a guy's pitching style because I can take an all star and give him a 6.00 ERA with the wrong one. May take away realism, but if I can't make it work, then I'd rather make the compromise.

It's funny but I am one of the few who doesn't even notice this stuff. I'm more into atmosphere, stadiums, etc.. never even noticed if the Braves were super accurate in this department.

Maybe I'll check it out this year.
