Edit: For you sports gamers who don't follow the rest of gaming too closely, the Unreal Engine is gorgeous, especially in its newest state.

Edit #2: The debate has been settled: the game does not appear to have an NFL license in any way, shape or form. Still really exciting, IMO.

I'm sure well get a ton of info come E3. From the sounds and looks of it, the recent "leak" kinda forced their hand. Probably had to release an image so people didn't get their hopes up for an NFL title.

Still, this is awesome. I think the best thing any logical person could have hoped for was a game that looked like it could sell retail with a well-known engine. And just a guess, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't filled with customization options.

Without the game being tied to a licence, this could double as both a college game and NFL game if given enough customization options.

Maybe a dumb question but has the unreal engine ever been used in a sports game before. If so which one and how was it.
