Unable to game prep position in CFM

I'm currently trying to game prep Tyler Eifert in my Bengals CFM. I have been able to do this for weeks, but suddenly the option to develop TE seems to be removed from the options. Have any of you had this problem? Can I solve it? I'm really dumbfounded right now and don't know what to do.

I heard if you sign random players at the position you want to train, it will sometimes allow you to develop them. Try signing a TE or two (maybe young ones will give you a better chance) and see if that works. If not, I think you can cut them without consequence. You might also have to wait a week for it to pop up.

The game switches up your game prep. I think its to make you think about the whole team instead of just one guy. I used to do the Stick Drill with Tajh Boyd and then week 14 it was gone. Didnt see it again till week 8 the following year

Tried the signing thing, didn't work. This really f*cking sucks. I chose the Bengals in mij online CFM mainly because of Eifert (I love tight ends in Madden) and now in week 2 of the regular season I can't even develop him anymore. I think it is plain ridiculous that I can't decide for myself who I wan't to develop. But if nobody has a solution, I guess I just have to deal with it...

Well there is always the Whole Team option and you could just do it on Tyler. It costs like 8 hours tho for only a few confidence or like 15XP. Other then that. Yea gotta bite the bullet

It is an error in the game design. You will typically see certain positions duplicated based on the number of players you have in that position (ie, Develop Promising CB will show up 5 times if you have 5 CBs). There, unfortunately, hasn't been any substantial explanation as to the rhyme/reason of this.

If they wanted to limit the amount of game prep you could do on a certain position/player... then they should allot hours to EACH position grouping, force you to spread out your hours between each player in that group (ie can't drop 100% on #1 guy) and then limit the XP you gain from doing said game prep.

In real life, I'm pretty sure all positions get equal practice... why wouldn't you offer the same in the game? Ridiculous.
