How Many Draft Picks Can You Have?

I have about 20 picks for this coming season. Is there a limit to how many I can have for one draft?

During the draft I often trade my pick to the computer to move up a round in the coming year. I also try and get value for players who will have a reduced role on my team from other users in our league by getting a draft pick.

I'm curious about this as well. I think in previous years you could only have 10 picks per year, but I'm pretty sure I've gone over that mark with this year's game.

A few weeks ago I was running some tests for scouting strategies in which I traded for as many picks as I could. I believe the most I could get was 25 but it may have been as high as 28. There was definitely a limit though and it was somewhere around that.

What happened when you hit the max? Did it not allow you to trade for picks anymore?

max is 25 in this year and next

if you hit that number it says "your team" doesn't have that pick anymore if you try and trade for a 26th iirc

Sorry, so 25 in current draft and 25 in next year's draft for a total of 50, or 25 total between both years?

Also, when it says that message does the trade just cancel or does it "replace" a pick?

The max I think is 25, if I try to get more picks it'll just say the team doesn't have that pick anymore when they actually do.

If you try to trade and get more picks, the trade just gets cancelled. You either have to get some picks removed by trading some players on the trade block or try to move up a round with your picks.

when you try and trade a 3rd (when have 25) for say a 4 and 2 6s
it will give that error message
