Post some of your ideas for MyTeam challenges. 2k we feature some fans challenges in game as a community challenge.


old school, new school, which school rules?

Go up against a all 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's squads in a single elimination tournament. You can only use players form the 14' 15' roster incluing shap, emerald, pink diamond and diamond. You're restricted to using 4 gold or higher tier cards. ie 2 pink diamonds 1 emerald 1 gold the other 9 have to be silver or bronze. SS/SIM 6 min quarters. 20k MT for 5 wins in a single elimination a game tournament format seems fair.


My brothers keeper

face a team made up of pairs of siblings. limited to 1 gold or higher card. SS/SIM 6 min quarters. Reward 3.5k MT


like father, like son

battle a team made up of father and son combos. You're restricted to 2 gold or higher. SS/Sim 6 min Qs, 3.5k mt reward.

Your last two ideas sound good, but there aren't enough players to make complete teams using the brothers/father son criteria. Father/son comes close with about 10, but the brothers would be short. I only count 10, but maybe I'm missing some. *Edit* I forgot about Dunleavy, Rivers, Pressey, and Barry. the father son one is very doable.

Tops at their position Challenge.

The top guys at their position for different skill sets I.E. top scorers team, top passers, top defenders, rebounders, and best second bananas.

Top defenders team could be Cheeks, Moncrief, Pippen, Rodman, and Dikembe. Maybe have five to seven game series against each different type of team. It would be interesting to change strategies based on the team you were playing. Just stop giving us challenges against all time greats thrown together just because they are the top cards in the game.

I would like to play some of the historic teams with lineup restriction also.

Would like to see challenges versus this years all star teams. One for east and west respectively

Not a "community challenge" but would like to add the historic teams to the domination 99 stars

For all challenges and especially Domination, I would like to see them add a category for Margin of Victory. Make it worth 1pt for every point you win by. If you win by 20 points, you deserve that extra 20MT to hopefully put you over the top. If we have to play a cheesefest of a game to get MT in the first place, we should be rewarded for racking up the points. It makes no sense to win by 20, but miss that third star by less than 5 MT. That should be an easy enough fix.

Here is a few ideas, let me know what you think:

1) When Big Men Ruled the World (medium difficulty)
Starting lineup must include ALL inside scoring types. Face off against a modern small ball lineup and try to beat them up with a big lineup.

2) You Got a Ring? (easy)
Face off against sub-par players who you may not think have a ring such as Brian Scalabrine, Mark Madsen, Luke Walton etc..
Restricted to Bronze Lineup

3) Foots on the Line...
Lineup must include 8 'outside scorers' (new scoring types in 2k16) in an old school court where there is no 3pt line, only 2 pointers.

4) Draft Busts (easy)
Face off against draft picks who didn't live up to the hype (ex. Bennett, Darko, Olowokandi, Biyombo, Kwame Brown etc
Bronze Lineup

5) California Kings
Lineup must NOT include players from California team
Face off against best to play in Cali, including SAC, LAL, LAC, GSW (ex. Curry, Kobe, Griffin, CP3, Shaq, Cousins, etc)

6) Serving Minors
Use NBA veterans to defeat the Young Bloodz of the NBA. Face off against a 21&under squad of the best newcomers. The lineup requirement is NBA players with 5+ years in the league.

7) Thrived & Survived Y2K
Face off against the best players from the new wave of classic teams dating from the new millennia until now (Players from new classic teams such as 08 Boston, 04 Wolves, etc)
Lineup restricted to historic players.

8) Alliteration Domination
Face off against players with the same first and last initial. (ex. Ricky Rubio, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Bass, Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Aaron Afflalo, DeMar DeRozen, Bradley Beal, Kyle Korver, Kosta Koufos, Allan Anderson etc)

9) Like a Good Neighbor
Face off against top point guards featured with twin brothers. Don Stockton, Sebastian Curry, Cliff Paul, etc). The lineup would be 5v5 all point guard starting lineups.

10) The Old College Try
Face off against the best players to finish college and decide for yourself if its worth it! (ex. Lillard, Duncan, Reddick, Parsons, George Hill, J, Lin, etc)

11) The Basketball Gene
Face off against NBA players and their brothers/father (ex. Greek Freak & brother, Steph/Seth/Dell Curry, Phil Pressey & father, Andrew/Nick Wiggins, Morris twins, Luke/Bill Walton, Isiah Thomas' etc)

12) Green-Brown Show
Face off against all the colorful names. (ex. Gerald Green, Jeff Green, Lorenzo Brown, Shannon Brown, Kwame Brown, Draymond Green, Danny Green, etc)

13) Shaqtin with these Fools
Face off against a Shaq-led team featuring all of the misfits he regularly call out on Shaqtin a Fool. (ex. JaValeeee McGeeee, Otto Porter, Kendrick Perkins, etc)

14) Fitty Fitty Bang Bang
Face off against players who have unexpectedly scored over 50 points in game and will most likely NOT do it again. (ex. Mo Williams, Corey Brewer, Andre Miller, Terrance Ross, Rip Hamilton, etc)

15) I Played with Sam
Your lineup will consist of players who have been on a team that the journeyman Sam Cassell has been on. You may use players from HOU, PHX, DAL, NJ, MIL, MIN, BOS, LAC. You will face off against players who have not played with Sam.

16) Initial Here...
Face off against players who are known sole by their initials and nothing else. (ex. KD, MJ, CP3, MCW, etc)

17) The Circle in the Triangle
Face off against the best players to have used the triangle offense. (ex. MJ, Pippen, Kobe, Shaq, and co)

18) $5000....FINE Ill Stop Flopping
Be careful as you face off against NBA players who have been fined for flopping or have a reputation for it. (ex. Lance Stephenson, PJ Hairston, C. Brewer, C Bosh, T. Allen, LeBron, etc)

19) The Most Dreadful Team
Face off against a team with the most dreaded hairstyle. (ex. Jake Crowder, Chris Douglas Roberts, Kenneth Faried, Demarre Carroll, Chris Copeland, Nene, Turiaf, Jordan Hill, etc)

20) Thats a Wrap!
Face off against NBA players who tried to make it in the rap business with at least one song. (ex. Shaq, Tony Parker, Kobe, AI, KD, Lance Stephenson, Troy Hudson, Ron Artest, Damien Lillard, etc) ...Look em up if you don't believe me!
