Just picked it up, questions for the pros

Hey guys, I had this back in 2008 but never really played it so I just picked it up again and I remembered how amazing this game is.
Some questions, since I can't find a manual...
- Which mode lets me play a full season with one team and controlling all the others including a March Madness at the end?
- I've read a bit about realignment of teams in conferences. Is this something that can realistically be done for all DivI conferences or does it cause problems? Obviously for playing JUST March Madness tournaments it doesn't make a difference.

Re: Just picked it up, questions for the pros

1) That would be legacy mode. There are two types: closed and open. Open lets you play as whichever team you want, while closed lets you start with a small school and build yourself up as a coach to move on to bigger schools.

2) I think it can be done somewhat realistically, but since you can't add or drop schools from a conference, none of the names for the conferences will be correct. For example, you will have to move the teams in the Big Ten to a conference that has 14 teams.
