Even All-Stars Fade Away ~ A Madden NFL 15 Franchise

There's no question that players like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Calvin Johnson and J.J Watt are some of the best at their position. Eventually, these players will either have to step down gracefully, or be forced out of the league. Teams are always looking for "the next best (insert players name)". For players like Brady and Manning, the end is closer than they would like to think. Is another chance at cementing their legacy among the greatest within reach, or will past demons haunt them as their careers come to a close? For Brady specifically, is one last Super Bowl ring within reach?



This franchise will be similar to my last franchise with the New England Patriots, but with a slight twist. Not only will the New England Patriots be the focus of this franchise, but several other star players will be chosen and there careers will be followed very closely. Here are the players that will be the focus of at least the 2014 season:

Aaron Rodgers (2005 - Present)

If you're making a list of the best players in the NFL, then you'll most likely start with a quarterback. That position often receives both too much blame and too much credit, but when you're Aaron Rodgers, that credit is much deserved. Rodgers has all of the tools, along with the hardware, to prove that he is among the best quarterbacks in the NFL today.

Richard Sherman (2011 - Present)

Cornerbacks are tasked with making life difficult for opposing quarterbacks and Richard Sherman does that well. Despite some of the controversy that surrounds him due to his trash-talking, Sherman definitely backs it up.

Calvin Johnson (2007 - Present)

Calvin Johnson has been a nightmare for secondaries for some time now. His unique combination of size, speed, and strength have aided him in becoming one of the most dominant wide receivers in the game today.

J.J. Watt (2011 - Present)

In order for cornerbacks like Sherman to be successful, they have to rely upon their defensive line. J.J. Watt is certainly a player that can make covering receivers a whole lot easier.

The preseason for the first year of this franchise will be omitted since all 32 teams have their starting 53-man roster in place.
