This seems like it would be difficult to pull off because of the amount of players at the Rec trying to get games. That's why we need a matchmaking system for players that do not want or have the time to wait. At least be able to create a private session. But this seems like it'd be a hassle trying to do. When it's already hard to get a game in with your squad.

It's not the easiest, but my friends and I match up all the time in the rec. Just last night we played 3 games against each other. Just have a couple different people join a rec, find one with a couple courts open and join that person. We've done this a numerous amount of times and end up playing each other within 10 mins. Or if a team we wanna play is already playing in the rec, we might join there session and get next, in hopes that they win. 2nd isn't guaranteed, but 1st strategy works pretty well.

Just trying to put something together for bragging rights, because my friends and I talk about what if 2k had leagues or tournaments all the time. Could be fun with enough interest.

Winning formula within the rules: sign up with two good players and 3 decoys that can quit just after the game starts. Unstoppable.

The lag out/quitting rule should be changed to at least no more than 1 player from each team can quit, otherwise there will be unfair AI advantages and an abundance of calls for the ball at every moment, including wholly stupid ones.

If the rule would change to that, we would have teams that were losing purposely quitting or lagging out in order for the game not to count. I've never had problems playing against the cpu when players drop out. I actually find it much easier to shoot against and get around the cpu than a human. All you would have to do to stop the two players is double team them to force bad passes and cpu shots.

It's easier to shoot against the A.I but the CPU has an unfair advantage with psychic steals and faster response times for loose balls.

All you need is 2 flyers with Maxed ball handling (they will never lose the ball, NEVER) To ISO all game And abuse the dribble stick. And maybe a user controlled big and a cpu controlled SF or big. Winning formula ...

I understand you have opinions, but I'm not looking for people to poke holes, I'm just looking for good teams to join a tournament. We can go back and forth with this subject all day, but there is no need to as the majority of squads actually want to play as a squad. There will always be people who try to get any advantage they can to win, but there is always a way to stop it with good team play.
