Does anyone else miss CAL?

I miss being able to control a single NBA player and take them to the finals. I might be the only one here but CAL was my favorite mode in 2K12-13. It was awesome being able to use a player like Kemba and make them elite.

I miss it a lot. No reason why it shouldn't be there. Sometimes you don't want to make a player and start over. I'd love to take over Shabazz and make him feel like he's back at UCONN. Or turn Wiggins into a legacy.

Wouldn't playing MyLeague and then using player lock on the guy you want be nearly the same?

I never played CAL so I'm not sure exactly how it all worked.

Not really because you earn Skill Points to upgrade the player you use. It basically MyCareer but offline.

You could accomplish it in Player Lock but it does mot have the same feeling.

Unlike CAL...you can't turn just any player into a star on MyLeague unless you cheat but that isn't rewarding or satisfying.

I think the corny storyline direction that MyCareer went is the reason CAL is dead.

Re: Does anyone else miss CAL?

I'd rather play with an NBA rookie than create a fictional player to be honest.
