PS3 NBA2K14: Clown colored shoes?

Anybody else getting those funky clown colored shoes, in exhibition or Association Mode? Was driving me crazy until I deleted my custom made Nike shoe and viola, it looked like the clown shoes were gone.

Anybody know what's causing this? I really want to make custom shoes but don't want those multi-colored shoes rearing their ugly head in my Association Mode or in any game mode!

I had gotten that on 2k14 when I attempted to play a second game in one sitting. The first game, the player shoes would be just fine, but onwards, clown city. I'd have to restart the game just to play the next game of my schedule. Really bothered me since I'm a stickler for realism.
