CES 2015

I understand we are supposed to hear a bit more about MLB 15 The Show at the start of the year, but has anyone heard about the potential of that being as early as next week at CES?

This would be nice..... but correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt SDS usually release info on their own through blogs and such? I don't recall them releasing too much info at gaming expos and events such as this.

Re: CES 2015

ya dont get ur hopes up. Last year they did whats probably about to happen. Give u some news initially and then go silent til like late Feb....the good thing is theres no more need to countdown the days til the next game because of the carry over saves! so they could literally not release anything and I wouldn't care one bit.

You're right about the blogs, however they were at CES 2013. Some info was released, albeit nothing major. Last year was a bit different due to the new console, which is why we didn't hear anything too early, I assume.

Re: CES 2015

Sony was not at CES 2014 because of the late release on the PS4. However in a normal year like this one is Russell most likely will be at CES 2015 next week. And we usually get around 3 or so video interviews with some game play footage in the backround during the interview. And maybe some small tidbits about the latest version. So we may very well get our first look at MLB 15 The Show game play next week. I hope to see more improvements to the Stat overlays and Scorebug too. But all the good info is not that far away at all now

If there were no improvements from one game to the next I'd agree, but since we expect each iteration to improve over the last, I love the anticipation of release day like Christmas. Visions of new features dance in my head like sugarplums.

Don't expect any MLB The Show news from CES we will not be there this year.

2 years in a row that's kind of a small bummer
