So, here we are, holiday season is upon us. This place was mightily divided on their opinions on the lasting appeal of NHL 15 for the next gen consoles.

After a little over 3 months since the game's release, and with all of the updates being released, how much are you still playing the game?

What modes are you playing and what percentage of your gaming time is dedicated to NHL 15?

I voted other. I had NHL 15 for the 360, and traded it in. I have NHL 15 for the Xbox One, and I play it frequently. I miss being able to save replays and edit player numbers. Next generation isn't great, but it feeds my hockey addiction. I expect more for NHL 16.

I doubt it's any secret to anyone who recognizes my username, but i skipped it. About 1 month before release i was super pumped, i was budgeting for picking up a PS4 and getting the game on release day, probably even calling into work the next day.
I couldn't wait. NHL14 had left me sour, but this was next-gen! They had so much time, they had so much more power in the systems. The promo videos only focused on offense, so that was a bit worrying, but i figured Be a GM and defensive videos were on the way...

Then the gamplay video leaked. It looked the exact same to me. Same player movements, same goofy skating, same way players unrealistically pivoted in space without moving...the goalies even looked the same. I couldn't believe it. I wrote it off as just being an alpha or beta, pretty much finding any way to excuse it...but then release came, and it somehow got worse.

I'm holding out hope that EA went on a hiring spree, revamped management, and is going to really right the ship with NHL16. My only problem is, with as terrible of a launch as NHL15 had, EA pretty much coughed and said "Yeah, we noticed that too" then swept it under the rug promptly to post twitter updates about legends in HUT, and the cool new Getzlaf card you could win! I just feel that EA is completely disconnected with their fan base, but i'm giving them one last chance with NHL16 before i write the series off completely. Here's hoping it's worth it.

After the updates I play it almost everyday in my BeaGM mode.

My nephew gave it to me so I got it for free. With the lack of ingredients in BaGM and other missing modes, i lost the enthusiasm playing this game. I returned it after 3 weeks to get another game. So technically I skipped and saved my dollars from buying 14 and 15 .... and based on the reviews here in OS, I am glad I skipped 15.

Tried the 6 hour early access when the game was first released. Have about 4 hours left. Lol... Game is a joke IMO.

I bought it in November and play it 3 or 4 nights a week.
Online 1v1.
My record is about 60-30.

The stick angling invincibility is a little bit obnoxious but I work through it.

The game has plenty of flaws but it still has a pick and play simplicity which drags me in 3-4 days a week. Im still enjoying the gameplay.

I only play BAGM.
