Granted it was against Elon, but Jahlil had 25 and 20 last night...first 20/20 game from a Duke player since Brand. Kinda surprised Shelden Williams never did it.

Eastern Kentucky is pulling up and draining 3's from halfcourt and Miami can't hit anything. This team does not look focused one bit.

Literally, Eastern Kentucky cannot miss a 3 tonight and Miami can't hit them. Miami is getting great looks, they just are not falling. Also, I normally hate complaining about referees in basketball, but they are bad tonight. Rodriguez didn't even really bump the offensive player and it was whistled. Burnette takes a 3 and gets taken into the crowd from the defender and nothing is called. That's how it has been nearly all game.

At the time of this post EKU is 11/22 from 3. Half of them are 26 feet out with a defender in their face. The basketball gods wanted EKU to win tonight.

EKU player literally tosses up a halfcourt to avoid the violation and swishes it. Just have to chalk this up as a bad night, forget it and move on. I know Larranaga can get the team focused more and more as the year goes on. But if this is who the team really is, they really won't make the NIT either.

There are a bunch of interesting games today:

VCU travels to Cincinnati. Mick Cronin isn't coaching the game due to an unruptured aneurysm.
UNC-Ohio State and Kentucky-UCLA in Chicago.
SMU travels to Michigan in a game both teams really need.
Syracuse comes to Philly to play Villanova.
Northern Iowa plays Iowa.
Washington-Oklahoma and Utah-UNLV in Vegas.
Crossroads Classic in Indy, Butler-Indiana and Notre Dame-Purdue.
Braggin Rights game between Illinois and Missouri
UMass travels to Providence
