Solo Player Career: Ever traded or loaned?

Just curious if, during the course of a Player Career mode (solo), if they have been traded or sold without initiating the trade?

I started a Player Career on Semi-Pro with Accrington Stanley (bottom of Euro League 2). I have spent about 1/3 of my first year injured . I am also closing in on the end of the first season with the team where everyone has a 3 month contract left.

I don't see that I have a contract. I can see my net worth (4.1 million US), Ask to be Traded, and ask to be Loaned.

Will the Manager CPU trade or sell me to get more money for his team, or is that something I have to ask for (and I will forever stay with this team)? Do I have a contract that comes up for renewal where I can accept or reject?

Thanks for your time and experiences.

He may try to trade you even if you don't ask, but you'd have to accept ir too (a soccer player can't be forced into a move without agreeing with the new contract terms) but I'm not sure if your contract ever ends. Last time I really played was on FIFA12, so yeah, sorry.

At the end of the season, you have the option to stay with your current club or sign with another. There will be select clubs that offer you a contract, but you can't pick any club you want. As you mentioned, you also have the option of requesting to be sold or loaned. I don't think you can be sold against your will, if I remember correctly. Hope that helps.

Ah, so if I do nothing, I will continue to stay with the same team? Strange, as I know this team should not be able to afford me at this point. They *should* be selling me to get more money for the club to keep them in League 1 Football.

Thanks for all the input. I was just hoping for something a little more dynamic.

P.S. I was selected to play for the National Team, but once the season ended, it forgot I was on the National Team, and I was not called to the games in the following months.

Right, you'll have the option at the end of every season. I believe if you stay with your club, your salary will not go up. That'd be how they could still afford you. Not realistic, I know. They could really do so much more with player career but it's pretty basic.

Aye. I guess it is, but it has some bright spots with the National Team call ups and injuries (but too many, in my opinion).

Honestly, I don't see why you would go to a big team. Staying on a small team allows you to grow faster/get all your accomplishments.

I guess once the team runs out of talent for the league they are in, I will look elsewhere (as I don't get the point of my salary, anyway, other than ego).

Thanks for the input, everyone!

Again: not only by the end of the season; in the transfer windows. So January too.

Good luck mate, and let us know if you need anything else.
